LCG: Ministerial Sin Leads to Influenza Virus Attacking True COG Ministers

The ministers of the Living Church of God read the following to their members this Saturday:

"One of the unintended after-effects of the Ministerial Conference was that a number of those attending came down with an influenza virus..."

Obviously this is because of the sin that has filled the lives of the ministry.  It is a long held view in Armstrongism that sickness comes to us because of sin.  What are these men sinning?

They were hurt by deadly things....

And if you think that's bad, wait until the Feast!

I would think that a more common ministerial sin would lead to herpes or HIV virus attacking, rather than influenza.

Yes! What would they say if there were an influenza outbreak in Thailand? Their standards should be applied uniformly, and impartially. There is a scripture which states that we are to be judged by the same standards as we apply to others.

I think all Christian congregations should drink from the same cup at communion ...especially during an influenza outbreak. Hey, Jesus and his disciples did it...you know, example and all that.
